The whistleblowing platform presented here, for which the administrative manager responsible for handling reports acts as the data controller, has been designed and developed to ensure the anonymity and confidentiality of communications. If you wish, you may complete the optional fields "Name", "Telephone", and "Email", thereby identifying yourself to the whistleblowing manager.
If you choose to identify yourself, you must use the contact methods available on this platform to obtain and complete the declaration authorizing the processing of your personal data. The processing is based on your consent, pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
Your personal data will be retained until the purpose of the processing has been fulfilled—namely, the management of the report—which should occur within a maximum period of three months following the submission of the report, plus the mandatory minimum retention period of five years required by law. Due to the complexity of the matters raised in the report, the investigation of all relevant circumstances, or the appropriate follow-up actions, this maximum period may need to be extended. In such cases, your personal data will be retained for as long as the investigation and follow-up remain ongoing. If your personal data is found not to be relevant to the handling of the report, it may be erased in accordance with Article 19(2) of Portuguese Law No. 93/2021.
The platform supporting this whistleblowing channel is operated by GoFox – Tecnologias de Informação Unipessoal, Lda., which acts as the technical service provider for the portal and, consequently, as the data processor on behalf of the entity presented here.
The personal data you provide through this channel may also be shared with the competent authorities, such as law enforcement agencies, the Public Prosecutor's Office, the courts, Banco de Portugal, or independent administrative authorities, where this is necessary to follow up on the subject matter of the report and where there are grounds justifying the intervention of such authorities or external entities.
If you believe that any of your rights relating to the protection of your personal data have been infringed, you should use the contact methods provided to forward your request to the Data Protection Officer of the entity presented here, where applicable. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados – CNPD).
